After 7 years, Miko the cat was finally reunited with her family on Christmas Day in Berlin. It was the best Christmas gift the family ever received.
Miko’s human, Elena Hanke, was just 11 years old when the black and white cat went missing. Hanke has been waiting since then, and that was back in 2008.
According to Guardian, Miko was found just a few kilometers from where the family used to live. She was rescued and taken to an animal rescue where they found a microchip embedded and contacted the kitty’s family.
Hanks went to the shelter with her father and sister to reunite with their long-lost feline friend. It was a happy ending and a Christmas miracle to the family.
