A stray kitten wandered into a school teacher who then reached out to help his little furry friend. "Never a dull moment as a teacher, especially when you find love-able strays at work," Brian, a fourth grade teacher, wrote via reddit.
"We didn't believe the cat had an owner. The area is very low-income and stray cats are everywhere. He was kept in an empty classroom away from kids. We took him to the vet, he had hook worms but was otherwise healthy. Not the best idea to have a stray that close to your face but I was having a bad week and the affection was much needed."
When asked if the kitty had been adopted, Brain responded: "My friend and I went back and forth on who was taking him but my friend ended up taking him."
