A disheveled stray cat was found wandering outside carrying a lot of matted fur on his back. With food, a shave and lots of TLC, he completely transformed!
Meet Frisbee!
When Frisbee was spotted, he was covered in dirt and mats. Rescuers of Lowell TNR Coalition set out traps to get the kitty to safety and the kind folks from Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (in Salisbury, Massachusetts) took him in and got him the help he desperately needed. .
"He originally was found outside, severely matted (worst we have ever seen) and very hungry. He was caught as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, and was discovered to be friendly and in need of serious dental surgery," Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society told Love Meow.
The ginger boy was pretty beaten up when they brought him to the shelter, but he wasn't broken.
After shaving off all the matted fur and knots and getting major dental care, Frisbee purred and snuggled up to his rescuers showing them his happiness and gratitude.
In just one day, Frisbee went from a starving stray living with a lot of discomfort and pain to a happy kitty with a full belly.
It didn't take long for Frisbee's personality to shine through and someone to fall in love with this affectionate ginger boy.
"Frisbee has already been happily adopted," the rescue shared the good news with Love Meow.
Frisbee found his favorite chair in the house :).
His fur is growing back and soon it will be in its full glory.
He is thriving at his new home!
Frisbee is loving his happy, comfortable life without a single worry or care in the world.
