About Morgana-blue Eye:
"Morgana is a sweetheart who is not at all sure what has happened to her in the past few months and is looking for a new home where she can get settled in and forget the trauma. She must have had a loving home at one point because she is so well socialized and already spayed. But something happened and she was brought into the shelter as a stray.
As scary as it is for any owned cat to lose her family and end up in a shelter, it was even worse for Morgana. She is completely blind So she couldn't even see what was happening to her. She just sat in the back of the cage terrified and shivering. But, despite being so scared, sweet Morgana never lost her sweet temperment. She still purred for people and never offered to lash out at them.
Morgana is now living in a foster home and doing much better. She is still bewildered about what has happened to her, but is coming out of her shell and starting to explore the room she is living in and interact with the other kitties. She is still nervous about being picked up, and might be for the rest of her life, but loves attention. When you pet her, she will rub against you and lean into your hand. You just need to make sure to talk to her first, so she knows that you are near.
Morgana needs a family who is willing to let her have a few days to get adjusted before expecting her to be super sweet. She gets along fine with other cats and would probably be fine with a calm dog, but would do best in a home without young children as she would have no way to see when they were near her. Her ideal home would be a quiet household where she had plenty of time to just sit in someone's lap purring.
