A tiny kitty fell into the arms of a woman and brought her joy and hope that she'd never felt before.

Imgur user DarwinFinch was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, deterioration of muscles over time, when she was 12 years old. "I have suffered mild to severe depression and anxiety since my teens," she said.

In December, 2013, a tiny ball of fur, named Paishy, came into her life and changed her forever. "I got her for Christmas two years ago and fell in love instantly. She made me laugh. She didn't care about my disability, in fact my wheelchair was her favourite place to snooze."

When the kitten fell asleep in her lap, purring aloud, it filled her heart with such warmth and love she'd never felt before.

"(She) snuggles with me when I call her."
