A man came to a cat sanctuary to hang out with cats but ended up being swarmed by a litter of mischievous kittens.

An adorable feline family came to Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin for a chance at a better life.

They were so happy to have a safe place to stay and many volunteers to tend to their every need.

As the kittens grew, their personalities began to shine. In no time, they discovered that laps are for naps and that there is no such thing as personal space.

Many volunteers come to the Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary to cuddle and nap with kitties. They brush them, socialize with them and keep them company.

One of the kittens from the litter is brave, curious and very adventurous.

Cory came to the sanctuary to hang out with the cats and kittens last month.

As he lay down on a couch, the fluffy tabby from the litter hopped right on and decided to climb up his shoulder.

Cory gladly obliged and stayed still as the kitten sat down on the top of his head.

Once situated, the kitten surveyed the room while perching on his cap.

The tabby kitty then casually walked down Cory's face and made his way onto his chest.

Since personal space is not a concern to the kittens, the rest of the litter decided to join in the fun.

Suddenly, Cory found six little kittens making themselves comfortable on his lap.

Within minutes, he was covered in kittens and drowned blissfully in purrs.

By the end of the day, after Cory left the sanctuary, Cari from Safe Haven was shocked by what she discovered.

She saw the kittens inspecting a wallet that belonged to someone. Apparently, they had stealthily taken it out of Cory's pocket while he was cuddling with them.

"This litter does not care about personal space. They also stole his wallet. Cari found them with it after he left," the sanctuary said.
