Megan Marie is a South Florida-based animal advocate and writer with 3 years of experience covering cat rescue, foster journeys, and adoption stories for Love Meow. With firsthand experience working alongside the ASPCA, she brings a deep, ground-level understanding of shelter systems and the challenges faced by rescue organizations every day.

A lifelong cat lover and having adopted over 5 cats, Megan is especially drawn to the stories behind the stories; the tireless volunteers, the long-shot survivors, and the moments that remind us why rescue work matters. She covers the journeys that don't always make the headlines but absolutely should.
