A woman found a kitten in her garden all alone. He was just a few weeks old and needed help.

A few weeks ago, Genevieve from Montreal, Canada spotted a little black kitten in her garden all by himself. He was very sick with infected eyes.

Genevieve had seen a community cat with a litter of kittens wandering around her house previously and believed the cat mom had left behind this little one because he was not well.

The kitten was friendly and started to purr as soon as she picked him up. It was as if he wanted to be helped. Stella, a neighbor, got him some food and medical attention for his eyes.

That night, the little feline got a full belly and a warm bed to sleep in. He purred up a storm in pure bliss.

They got in touch with a shelter to help find the cat mom and the other kittens. Another rescue group, Chatons Orphelins Montréal, graciously offered to take the little singleton into their care.

"We named him Tintin. He adapted to the indoor life right away. He is fearless and loves attention from everyone around him," Celine Crom of Chatons Orphelins Montréal shared with Love Meow.

As he was nursed back to health, his personality started shining through.

Over the next few weeks in foster care, the former stray really blossomed.

Tintin is very playful, curious and wants to be in the midst of the action at all times.

He wants to be near people and will follow them everywhere they go. The sweet kitty enjoys napping on his human friends rather than his own beds.

"Tintin loves the company of people and other kitties. He likes to climb on the cat tree and watch the day go by," the rescue said.

The sweet boy is almost four months old now, and he never sleeps alone at night.

The rescue paired him up with other foster kittens. Lucy, a black kitten from another litter, quickly bonded with Tintin.

Tintin has come so far since he was rescued from a life on the streets.

He and his best friend Lucy are ready for their next adventure in life - a forever loving home.
