A tiny kitten has been on quite a journey. He crawled inside the front wheel arch of a car somewhere between Perth and Sydney and stayed there until he was rescued by the firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW.
"Lakemba firefighters saved the day when called to rescue a small kitten trapped inside the front wheel arch of a car in Lakemba. New recruit firefighter, 'Rory', has a background in car repairs. He quickly had a fender cover removed from the vehicle and the kitten was safely released to freedom," Fire and Rescue NSW wrote on Facebook.
The kitten is now safe and sound at the RSPCA and will be soon available for adoption.
