A newborn kitten never got to nurse from his own mama and experience her love until a kind woman came into his life and gave him the love a mother would.
Meet Opie! This is him at 2 days old.
Aleigha Jade Kelley shares the story with Love Meow: "I love my Opie so much. I am a groomer and one of my clients knew of a mother cat who passed away after giving birth to 3 kittens. I immediately volunteered to bottle fed and help however I could. The client kept 2 and the last little furball was given to me."
Opie's first nap at his new home in a nice warm blanket.
"I have had him since he was 2 days old. I bottled fed him every 5 hours, it was so rewarding to watch him grow and get stronger. He's 13 weeks old now."
Having his first bottle like a champ!
"From the first moment I held him it was love. He's so spunky and adorable. All of our babies are rescues. He completes our family - 5 dogs and 2 meows."

Some of the most rewarding things about raising a rescue kitten is seeing something like this...
"It was so sweet to be able to raise him from birth and watch him grow into a hyper little kitten. He definitely changed my life, every one of my babies have."
