Wolfram Schubert from Germany is fascinated by cats from all walks of life and all over the world. He has met almost all the cats exist in his town and is often traveling around the world to meet new cats.
"When I am on travel, I find myself looking for cats on the streets quite automatically. Well, it didn't become an obsession, but it sometimes acted as a door opener into foreign culture." Wolfram has met cats from a Turkish fisherman, an grocery clerk in Brussels, a tinsmith in Rome, and the list goes on.
Whenever Wolfram spots a cat, he will pause and attempt to connect with the feline whether by feeding them treats or playing with them. Some of the cats are quite friendly, others are a bit shy or guarded. He carries a camera with him when he travels, so he can capture an image of each cat he comes across to remember them by. Wolfram has bonded with numerous cats and sometimes he wishes that he could take them home with him.
He even got the inspiration to start a blog to document his encounters with cats in various locations. His next stop is Hong Kong.
