A cat named Troy pushed down a window screen while his owner was taking a shower and went away. His owner, David Gregory, looked around the neighborhood, posted flyers and contacted the Humane Society, hoping the cat would somehow come back. Gregory continued to look for his cat for the next six months until he started fearing that he would not see his cat again.
After two years of waiting, his luck's turned around this Thursday. Nebraska Humane Society found his cat and was able to identify him through the microchip embeded in the cat. Though the phone number was outdated, they were able to find out the address of the owner and got in contact with Gregory.
