A calico kitten was spotted on the street when she was a few weeks old. "Our coworkers picked up a kitten in the middle of the street in downtown Columbus," her rescuer said.

Meet Fiona! This is the moment of her rescue.

Fiona was very small for a 5 week old.

"Possibly the runt of a feral litter…. Despite having two cats already, I brought her home, picked off a few ticks and gave her a bath. She was very cautious but gratefully mewed while eating and drinking," imgur user paperfangs said.

She cuddled up to her human after they brought her home.

They cleaned her up, gave her food and water. She fell asleep next to them afterwards.

"By 3AM, Fiona had done a complete 180."

"Seeing her asleep and happy was a huge relief!"

A week later, they knew they couldn't part with her.

"She's easily the boldest, cuddliest and most personable cat I've owned."
