When Squirrelly the kitten was found, he was as tiny as a baby squirrel. A kind person named Anthony saw the little newborn kitten whose placenta was still attached.
"He scooped him up and brought home," said Carrie Anne. "My 3 year old daughter (Isobel) thought he was a baby squirrel and so named him 'Squirrelly'."
Squirrelly was found as a newborn orphan kitten. He was brought to a loving home where he met Isobel, a 3 year old girl.
©Carrie Anne CastilloTheir daughter Isobel fell in love with the little Squirrelly and offered to help. They taught Isobel to bottle feed the little one and she became a big help for her mother while her mother worked around the clock to nurse the kitten back to health.
Isobel learned to bottle feed and care for Squirrelly.
©Carrie Anne CastilloOver the past year, Isobel has watched Squirrelly grow from a tiny baby to a handsome cat and provided a lot of TLC. The two have become inseparable friends.
Here is their beautiful friendship from the day Squirrelly was rescued to now.
