A kitty, who was born without hind legs, uses his fluffy tail to help him do things just like any other cats.

From the day little Anakin showed up in a feral colony for food, he quickly caught the attention of a kind woman. :)
"I wasn't looking to get another cat but you know how these things just happen," Carrie Hawks said. "A kitten without back legs started coming over to eat with the other feral cats at my dad's work."
They began their mission to rescue the little two-legged feline. "My first few trips to attempt to catch him didn't work out."
On May 31, 2012, Carrie found the kitten cowering in the bushes and refusing to come out. She climbed into the bushes and managed to get him to safety.

Overnight, the little shy kitten came out of his shell and began to enjoy life as an indoor cat.
On his first trip to the vet, the tiny miracle kitten surprised everyone with his ability to work with just two front legs. "Our vet said she had never seen anything like him before."

Anakin was born without a pelvis and back legs but the little kitten doesn't think that he is any different. To him, having two legs is the normal.
"He is such a sweet calm little guy. He is happy to cuddle in our laps and purrs really loud," Carrie wrote. "We decided to name him Anakin (after Anakin Skywalker)."

As he grew bigger, his tail blossomed.
He uses his fluffy tail to help him balance and get around, and has mastered the art of walking on two front legs. "Anakin's tail measures 15.5 inches from its start to the end of the fur at the tip," Carrie wrote.

"He's such a handsome Lil Man. See how he sits on his tail. This is his normal sitting position."

Anakin arches his back for a nice stretch after a long nap.
"I caught him mid stretch on one of the cat tower perches," Carrie said.

Just like any other cats, Anakin loves to sit on computer keyboards.
Where there's warmth there's Anakin :).

Despite having just two legs, Anakin can climb cat trees effortlessly with incredible agility and speed.
Anakin doesn't think he's disabled, just differently abled.

Anakin is five years old now.
The tiny kitten that they found in the feral colony, has grown into a magnificent cat with a floofy tail that helps him walk, jump, climb, and do all the things like other cats.
