A little wobbly kitten got back on his paws and walked again. Now, he's ready for a new chapter in life.

A pint-sized kitten was brought to NOVA Cat Clinic in Arlington, Virginia for a chance at a better life. "He was relinquished to us due to him experiencing some decline and acting a bit neurologic with a soft lump on the back of his head," Ellen Carozza, Licensed Veterinary Technician, shared with Love Meow.

The little ball of fur was very wobbly and exceptionally small for his age. Despite having trouble to hold himself up, he was very determined and had a strong will to live.

Ellen named the kitten Finn and took him into her charity program, the Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Foundation, so the little guy could receive the best care to turn his life around.

After thorough exams and tests, they discovered an abscess behind his ear (caused by a beta-hemolytic streptococci infection), and that he didn't have any congenital defect or head trauma.

Finn was immediately started on the right medication, and tube-fed around the clock to ensure that he received all the nutrients he needed to heal.

Along with other therapies and treatments, the kitten started moving his legs around, trying to stand up. Despite still being a bit wobbly, he was ecstatic about his new-found strength.

One week into his journey, the kitten was strong enough to eat on his own. He began to practice walking and wasted no time to put his growing leg muscles to good use. Every day was a new, small accomplishment.

"Finn was putting on weight, learning to walk and hold himself up as a normal kitten," Ellen shared with Love Meow. "He liked to sit in his basket and watch the world go by as he was learning how to stand while not wobbling over."

As soon as Finn found his footing, he just kept going and trying, and wouldn't let anything stop him.

If he took a tumble while practicing his gait, he got right up and tried again. "In two weeks, he re-learned how to hold himself upright and made amazing efforts with walking."

The little fighter hit one milestone after another. He figured out the litter box all by himself and successfully transitioned onto solid food. Now, Finn had one goal in mind — that was to walk and jump with ease and climb things like any other kitten.

"He continues to improve daily and is slowly showing us his adorable personality," Ellen wrote.

The kitten who could barely hold himself upright, has transformed into a playful, rambunctious ball of energy. He will climb anything that he can lay his paws on, and has an endearing personality that captivates every heart he comes across.

Finn enjoys watching Bird-TV by the big window. He will climb on the cat tree and snuggle in his comfy loaf bed for the best view.

The sweet kitten never ceases to surprise his people with what he can do.

At the end of the day, Finn demands to be tucked in under Ellen's jacket for an extended cuddle session.

"This is his favorite spot to nap in," Ellen shared.

He has gone from needing help to sit up straight to now scampering around the room like he owns it. He has even met a little canine buddy and can hold his own wrestling with the pup.

After weeks of hard work, Finn is ready to find a place of his own and share his adventures with the family of his dreams.

He is eight weeks old and his personality is shining through.

Finn adores people and other fur friends, and is a professional lap-cat.

"He loves to snuggle, enjoys zoom meetings and even online school. He gets along great with cats and dogs," Ellen added.

It's amazing how far he's come since the day he was brought into the clinic.

Not only has he bounced back on his paws, but also he's thriving and excelling in every kitten thing.
